Contact form: name, email, program of interest, Spanish level and your message.

Browsing data: IP address, device, browser, pages visited and how you interact with the website, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

To answer your messages and questions.
To recommend a program, schedule and teach your classes, manage your package, track your progress and issue certificates.
To manage payments and keep the accounting records required by law.
To send you information and reminders about your classes.
To send you news and offers — only if you agree, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
To understand how the website is used and improve it (analytics).
To show relevant ads on social networks and measure their results — only with your consent where required.
Depending on the case, the legal basis is your consent, the performance of the classes you've purchased, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in improving our services.
By sending the contact form, taking the level test, registering for the conversation club, writing to us on WhatsApp or by email, or purchasing a package or course, you give your prior, express and informed authorization to process your data for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw it at any time, unless we need to keep certain data because of a legal or contractual obligation.
We never sell your data. We only share it with providers we need to offer our services:
Google (Gmail, Google Analytics and Search Console).
Meta (WhatsApp and Meta Pixel).
PayPal, Revolut and banks, to process payments.
Zoom, for online classes.
Our website hosting provider.
Authorities, only when required by law.
Some of these providers store data outside Colombia (for example, in the United States or the European Union). We only work with providers that apply adequate security measures and data protection safeguards.
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This website uses or may use:
Essential cookies: needed for the website to work properly and securely.
Analytics — Google Analytics: statistics about pages visited, time on the site, device and approximate location, to improve the website (cookies such as _ga and _ga_*).
Advertising — Meta Pixel: measures the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and helps show them to people who may be interested (cookies such as _fbp and fr).
Google Search Console doesn't place cookies in your browser; it only gives us information about how the website appears in Google search results.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in the cookie banner, delete or block cookies in your browser settings, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Inquiries: up to 12 months if you don't become a student.
Student data: while you're taking classes and up to 2 years after your last class, so we can issue certificates and answer questions.
Payment and accounting records: for as long as tax laws require.
Analytics data: up to 14 months.
After that, data is deleted or anonymized.
You have the right to:
Know, access, update and correct your personal data.
Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
Be informed about how your data is used.
Withdraw your authorization or ask us to delete your data, when there's no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
If you're in the European Union or the UK: also request the portability of your data, and restrict or object to its processing.
File a complaint with the data protection authority: in Colombia, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), after contacting us first; elsewhere, the authority of your country.
To exercise your rights, write to teacherenjoyingspanish@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy”. We'll answer inquiries within 10 business days and requests or claims within 15 business days, as set by Colombian law. Exercising your rights is free.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data: a secure connection (HTTPS) on the website, restricted access to student information and trusted providers. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will let you know if an incident affects your data.
Data of students under 18 is provided and authorized by their parent or legal guardian, and is processed with special care and always respecting the minor's best interests.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new tools to the website. The current version is always published on this page, with its date of last update.
